Introduction
The Southeast Asia RDI Training Centre is the region’s professional training hub dedicated to Relationship Developmental Intervention (RDI), a research-based approach that empowers professionals to help children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental challenged build meaningful relationships, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking.
This centre provides expert-led training for therapists, educators, psychologists, and other professionals who want to go beyond behavoiural approaches and foster lifelong cognitive and social growth in children.
Why This Matters
Autism rates are rising, and more professionals need advanced, relationship-based training to support families.
Traditional approaches often focus on behaviours rather than developing the thinking and social-emotional skills that drive long-term success.
The RDI approach is proven to help children engage meaningfully with the world around them – building independence, communication, and resilience.
The new training centre bridges this gap, ensuring that professionals across Southeast Asia can access world-class RDI training without having to navigate timezone challenges.
What We Offer
- Comprehensive RDI certification training led by Genevieve Chua, an experiences consultant and supervisor.
- Real-world case studies
- Guidance on coaching parents to create meaningful engagement with their children
- Ongoing mentorship and community support for professionals after training
About RDI
Relationship Development Intervention is a developmental, family-centred approach to:

- Build emotional regulation and to manage anxiety and social challenges
- Strengthen dynamic thinking so children can adapt to new situations and problem-solve in real time
Unlike traditional methods that emphasise compliance, RDI focuses on meaningful engagement, problem-solving and critical thinking skills that last a lifetime.
